Both No-Bell Prizes and Dan L went with the Rams this week, so both teams advance to week 7! Who will blink first?

Blunder of the week
This week’s blunder goes to Adam. His blunder is not so much because he hurt himself, but for the league wide implications. Adam started Kenny G, who was sitting out injured this week. Had Adam played O.J. Howard or Parris Campbell instead the team would have scored enough points to beat both Jolly Roger and Joe Dubya. Remember, even if you are tanking, it is required that you submit a valid line up each and every week.
The close second place finish for blunder of the week goes to Joe Dubya. Joe left Donovan Peoples-Jones and his 24 points on the bench. Those points would have been enough to beat GS, move into first place, and retain his top position as the scoring leader. Instead Joe got the L, sits in second, and Jolly Roger is once again the scoring leader for the season.
Standings
GS
11-1, 788.34 points scored
There was a battle this week. A battle between GS and Joe Dubya. Between number one and number two. And in this battle Greg emerged victorious, extending his lead at the top of the standings. Greg got a lot of help from his running backs when both Najee Harris and D’Andre Swift had excellent weeks. So did league winner Antonio Brown. But it was TE Noah Fant (this week’s TE1) and his 20 points that was the icing on the cake. Next week will be a challenge for the team though. It will take a miracle to maintain their lead with so many players on bye.Joe Dubya
9-3, 812.44 points scored
Joe came close to getting a double win and moving up in the standings, but Derrick Henry, with his 143 yards and three TDs, just wasn’t enough. Of course the real problem for the team wasn’t Henry - it hasn’t been Henry in a very long time. The problem was the goose egg delivered by Rashard Higgins. Trying to win down a player is never easy.Westminster Wildcats
8-4, 653.26 points scored
The Wildcats did enough this week to secure one win and one loss. Jaylen Waddle and Marvin Jones helped take up the slack resulting from a down week from Mike Williams. The biggest mystery for the team is why is Rob Gronkowski in the starting line up? Both Will Dissly and Pat Freiermuth were available on the bench and both them actually played.Jolly Roger
7-5, 815.08 points scored
Jolly Roger tried to stage a comeback on Monday night but Stefon Diggs uncharacteristically wasn’t up to the challenge. His 19.4 points left the pirate ship 1.22 points short. Of course all the blame for this loss can’t be put on his shoulders. The week started out poorly on Thursday with just 3.7 points from Mike Evans and it didn’t get any better Sunday with just 3.4 points from Antonio Gibson. However Darrel Williams played heroically scoring 22 points, which is very helpful with Christian McCaffrey on IR. Hopefully we’ll get to see CMC play again before the end of the season.Wizard Of Oz
7-5, 754.74 points scored
Just like last week the Wizards started out slow, but unlike last week there were no heroics on Monday night to salvage even a single win for the team. Jonathan Taylor did all that he could, but Kenneth Gainwell and Ty’Son Williams combined for just 0.6 points which really hurt the team. Add in a goose from Zach Pascal and the team’s fate was sealed. Going forward Joe will have to decide which Baltimore RB to start - do they pivot to Devonta Freeman or stick with Ty’Son?Jason Edelman
7-5, 646.58 points scored
The start of this season has been difficult for Jason. Things have just not broken his way. But maybe that is starting to change. Two strong wins for the second week in a row takes Jason over .500 for the first time this season. And maybe this catch by Julio Jones is just a sign that better days are here. Or maybe Julio leaving the game with a hamstring injury is a sign that Jason is still in the middle of the rough patch. Or maybe neither means anything at all. We’ll just have to watch the rest of the season and assign meaning to events later. (Sorry for not embedding the video - the NFL won’t allow it.)White Hart Bobby Layne
6-6, 756.74 points scored
White Hart Bobby Layne scored 117 points this week, continuing their trend of scoring at least 100 each week of this season. The team was led by impressive performances from Cooper Kupp and Adam Thielen who scored 53 points combined, or about 45% of the team’s total. Ezekiel Elliott did all that he could, but with Alvin Kamara on bye the running attack looked rather anemic. Things won’t get much better next week though because even though Kamara will return, Zeke will take his turn to rest, meaning Gaskin or Williams may get another chance to prove themselves to their coach. All-in-all it was a good week for the team though. They bounced back from two narrow losses last week and getting two good victories this one.No-Bell Prizes
6-6, 625.6 points scored
Just last week the walls where crashing down on the Prizes, but this week the team rallied around their injured colleagues and secured two wins, setting the high score for the week in the process! In particular Leonard Fournette started off the week on Thursday by scoring 27 points ending as the week’s RB3. Tua Tagovailoa returned from cracked ribs to score 21 points of his own (good enough for QB11 on the week) in London. But it was CeeDee Lamb that really shined. He was the WR1 this week with 31 points, catching 9 passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns. If the team can keep it up a few more weeks then the season might not be completely lost just yet.Dan L
4-8, 608.72 points scored
It was the closest match of the week and it came down to Monday night football. Dan trailed TC by 3.48 points with just Dawson Knox left to play. Knox has been excellent this year, through the first five weeks he was the TE3 averaging 13 points per game. It should have been an easy win. But nothing comes easy in fantasy football. Knox only managed 4 points on the night… just enough to eek out the win. But a win is win if by 52 or 0.52 points. However the week also came with a loss for Dan - he needed Knox to do much, much more if the team was going to beat the Wildcats.TC
4-8, 531.64 points scored
TC failed to register any wins on a down week for Lamar Jackson. Going into Monday night TC had a slight lead over Dan, but Dawson Knox did just enough and Dan walked away with the W. How ever a consistent bright spot on TC roster is Diontae Johnson. He didn’t put up amazing numbers this week, but 9 receptions for 71 yards makes him very fantasy relevant. Whoever drafted Johnson and then traded him away for a running back that is always injured must feel pretty stupid right about now…Adam
2-10, 619.42 points scored
Adam had a pretty good week, scoring 117 points, but came up just short in both matches. He couldn’t have asked for much more than the 26 points he got from Josh Allen (QB3 on the week) or 23 points from Joe Mixon (RB4). Even DeAndre Hopkins at WR10 had a perfectly good week with 19 points. Really it was just a mistake having Kenny Gollady as a starter when he didn’t even play that cost Adam some big wins.Sweet Lou
1-11, 435.7 points scored
Sweet Lou just keeps on trucking, scoring 74 points this week which is slightly higher than the team average of 72. The team does own their own draft pick for 2022, so right now they are in poll position to have the number 1 overall pick. According to the Dynasty League Football devy rankings that could be someone like Bijan Robinson, RB from Texas, or Kayshone Boutte, WR from LSU. I’m sure team management is starting to think about scouting. Four first round picks is a lot of ammunition when rebuilding a team.Power rankings
Jolly Roger lost a ton of ranking points this week when Christian McCaffrey went on IR. His rest of season rank plummeted from 3rd to 45th removing over 6,000 points. The other big loser this week was No-Bell Prizes caused by Clyde Edwards-Helaire sliding from 46th to 81st. Injuries really suck. Increasing this week is GS on the back of Najee Harris and D’Andre Swift. The Wildcats also reached their highest rank of the year, breaking the 20,000 point mark for the first time. This is a huge increase of about 6,500 from the start of the year.
