Mike White (QB6) and Michael Carter (RB1) teamed up to help the Jets take down the Bengals. I contemplated sending out a trade offer for Carter last week but did not get around to it, and now Carter has really broken out. You snooze, you lose. At the start of October, Fantasy Pros had Carter as the RB42. Now in the first week of November he has jumped all the way up to RB24. That makes him nearly unreachable. On the other hand Mike White is available on the waiver wire and should get at least a few more starts this season. Get your bids in!
MFL survivor pool
We finally have a winner! After five grueling weeks and countless hours of research to pick winners Dan outlasted Mark to clinch victory. The Jets/Bengals game provided lots of thrills, but it also proved too much for the No-Bell Prizes. Cincinnati was their downfall. On the other side Dan’s Denver pick looks inspired. Their 17-10 victory over the Washington Football Team was all that was needed.
Congratulations Dan! And thank you to everyone who participated. It was a lot of fun.

Trade block
Striking while the iron is hot, Jolly Roger has put Jeremy McNichols on the trade block. McNichols is the presumptive starter for the Titans after the Derrick Henry injury and Darrynton Evans was placed on IR. You can also gamble on Adrian Peterson, who just signed, D’Onta Foreman, or Dontrell Hilliard. All are free agents in our league.
Blunder of the week
Want to know who was really good this week? Look no further than the bench of the No-Bell Prizes. Tyler Boyd and his 17 points were on the bench. Tyler Lockett and his 20 points were there too. Jamal Agnew and Elijah Moore both had 10+ points on the bench. Jordan Howard had 17 more. And Geno Smith scored another 22 points on the bench! Had the manager not blundered so badly the team could have put up 163 points instead of their paltry 116.
Standings
GS
15-1, 1070.92 points scored
Greg cruised to another two victories this week with 135 points. Making most of the right start-sit choices Greg had huge days from Michael Carter, Najee Harris, Chris Godwin, and DK Metcalf. The one poor choice he made was starting Justin Herbert over Matt Stafford, an 11 point difference. The team is really coming together and is playing like champions right now.Joe Dubya
11-5, 972.04 points scored
Despite getting two victories, Joe’s title aspirations were dealt a cruel blow this week as Derrick Henry went down. Joe still has Austin Ekeler and Nick Chubb (the RB3 and RB17 on the year) rostered, so not all is lost, but depth could become an issue later. Joe should be excited that WR Kennan Allen just had his best (fantasy) game of the season which will help.Wizard Of Oz
10-6, 962.48 points scored
At the start of this season no one would think that Wizard Of Oz would be struggling at running back. Not with Jonathan Taylor and Saquon Barkley. Two of the top dynasty running backs. But with Barkley injured again, Taylor could not carry the team himself. Especially when three other running backs combined for under four points. Barkley can not get back on the field soon enough if the Wizards are going to compete for a title this year.No-Bell Prizes
10-6, 848.14 points scored
One or two bad start-sit decisions did not make this a completely bad week for the Prizes. A.J. Brown is looking better each and every week and figures to be a bigger part of the Titan’s game plan going forward. Boston Scott had a great week with two touch downs. Even T.J. Hockenson looked better this week than he has for a while. Finally the team managed to hold on Monday night to get the double win this week!Westminster Wildcats
10-6, 828.5 points scored
The Wildcats went 1-1 this week. A late game rally saved Tom Brady’s day. Worryingly Mike Williams has had a few down weeks in a row. The Wildcats will need him to recapture some of the magic from the early part of the season if they are going to make a deep playoff run.Jolly Roger
9-7, 1028.72 points scored
It came down to the wire. Could Patrick Mahomes, Darrel Williams, and Travis Kelce score the 31.3 points they would need to beat the No-Bell Prizes? Even with his down games Mahomes averages 21 points per game. Williams adds another 9 and Kelce is the cheery on top with 12. That should be another 42 points and an easy win. But it did not happen that way. Mahomes and company fell 0.5 points short, that is just one reception for no gain, of a tie. Instead they drop their third in a row to the No-Bell Prizes. But never count out Jolly Roger. After all they have a history of winning when it counts the most, in the playoffs.White Hart Bobby Layne
8-8, 984.88 points scored
Sunday night football was rough for the team. Dak Prescott was out so the Cowboys vs. Vikings game was not the shootout that could have been. This kept fantasy scores down and poor Euan had five players from either the Cowboys or Vikings in his starting nine. With this limited upside the team was able to score 109 points. Enough to win one, but not both matches this week.Jason Edelman
8-8, 815.68 points scored
Jason dropped another two games this week, falling to .500, again. This season has never really gotten in gear for the team. Having two star wide receivers, Michael Thomas and Davante Adams, both not playing hurts. Having your number one tight end on bye hurts. Having a high scoring QB refusing to play for his team hurts. Sometimes fantasy football just hurts.Dan L
6-10, 831.56 points scored
Dan won the survivor pool this week! His team also won one game and lost one to GS. Not all the players hit this week, but Dan has a really nice trio of young wide receivers. Michael Pittman, DeVonta Smith, and Courtland Sutton are ascending, which will be good for the team which just lost Calvin Ridley indefinitely. Now the team will just need to figure out how to keep tight ends healthy - Robert Tonyan went down a few weeks after Dawson Knox who went down a few weeks after Logan Thomas. Hopefully Zach Ertz can stay healthy!TC
5-11, 639.72 points scored
This was a bad one for TC. He does not seem to have submitted a line up, so there were three players on bye in the lineup this week. In total the team only put up 42 points gifting GS and Wizard Of Oz easy wins.Adam
3-13, 811.82 points scored
Adam got a third win this week, triumphing over the Wildcats while also losing to White Hart Bobby Layne. In a shootout between the number one and two QBs this season, Josh Allen got the better of the Wildcat’s Tom Brady 29-25. Adam will have to hope that his wide receivers do better next week. All together four receivers scored just 28 points. Win number four will require more of them.Sweet Lou
1-15, 551.26 points scored
Sweet Lou saw a spark of life from rookie QB Justin Fields! Between that and some of the moves that Kadarius Toney has been making there is something to be optimistic about.Power rankings
The biggest loser this week was Joe Dubya. His score plummeted 8,000 points when Derrick Henry was injured. Even though the Titans expect to get him back in the 2021 season it may be too little too late for Joe and his team.
Dan also lost a lot of power ranking points this week when Calvin Ridley decided to step away from football for personal reasons. The experts from Fantasy Pros must not expect him back for much of this season because his ranking fell from 32nd all the way to 157th. Hopefully everything will work itself out and Ridley can be back and better than ever before long!
