Week 4 Review

Another team rebranded this week. Dan’s To Be Named Team became Puk Nukem, named after their rising star. This will mean that trading for Puka is going to be all but impossible. In the coverage image this week Puka scores his first NFL touchdown simultaneously winning the game for the Rams in overtime.

Blunder of the Week

Once again the blunder of the week is going to Greg and Team gee17. After a down week 3 Greg decided not to play Nico Collins leaving his 32 points on the bench. gee17 managed to win without the help of Collins, but at the end of the season when the regular season scoring champion is crowned he might just wish he had those points.

Review

Team WhiteHartBobbyLayne vs. Jolly Roger

The two top scorers on the week played each other, but Jolly Roger managed to walk away with a comfortable 171-138 win. After the Thursday night game when David Montgomery scored 33, Euan would have been feeling pretty good about his chances. But CMC scored over 40 points, Diggs over 30 and Josh Jacobs tacked on more than 20. It didn’t even matter that Mahomes had a down day.

Team Louiewallis vs. Team tccromp

The Louiewallis’ continued their excellent season with a 98-71 win. Justin Fields had his best game of the season by far scoring 27 points. TC had some accidental success with Sam Howell scoring 19 and Khalil Herbert having 20. Of course the big scorer of the week was DJ Moore (on the bench of course) with 23. This couldn’t be allowed to continue so Moore immediately ended up on the trade block.

Team Puk Nukem vs. No-Bell Prizes

The No-Bell Prizes got back into the win column with a 95-71 victory. Sadly for them this just fell short of the 96.83 league median so the Prizes also ended up with a loss. As it turns out changing your lineup minutes before kickoff can be bad. Drake London was set the start but right before kickoff was swapped for Miles Sanders. London had 10 points Sanders only 4. On the newly rebranded Puk Nukem’s the namesake player Puka Nacua has continued his amazing rookie season averaging 19 points per game so far.

Flaccoroni & Cheese vs Team JoePerm

Flaccoroni & Cheese got a good win 99-69 win over JoePerm. With the bonus win for beating the league median the Cheese team moves to .500. Team JoePerm had an all around down week with poor performances from Joe Burrow and Deebo Samuel and just average performances from other stars. They will surely bounce back.

Joe Wodja vs. That’s What Cheesehead

Joe defeated Adam 100-81. This was despite being outscored at QB by 27 points. Joe did win at the rest of the positions which was more than enough to secure the win. Mark Andrews had his biggest week of the season so far, scoring 22 points, that’s more than he scored in weeks 2 and 3 combined.

Purdy Good vs. Team gee17

Greg moved up into second place in the standings after winning 113-77. Justin Herbert had another great day that was capped with a broken finger on his non-throwing hand. Herbert has a bye this week so Greg will have to look elsewhere for a signal caller. Purdy Good drops to 1-7 on the season and seems to be playing more for draft position than trying to make the playoffs at this point.
