Week 6 Review

This week Javonte Williams scored a two-point conversion. In our league it was worth 0 points. Just more evidence that we need to change the rules for next season. But since he got 0 points for that run, he will be featured here instead. Now go out mightly Mr. Williams and score many, many touchdowns.

Blunder of the Week

Purdy Good gets the honor this week for starting Dalvin Cook over Ezekiel Elliott. In the last three weeks Cook has scored a total of 4.5 points. Elliott has scored more than that on 4 out of 6 weeks this season, including 11.4 just this week. This is not to say that Elliott is setting the world on fire, just that he is doing better than Dalvin Cook.

Review

Team tccromp vs Jolly Roger

TC stayed perfect on the season, losing to Jolly Roger 45-125. Sam Howell is looking to be a very respectable fantasy quarterback and is currently the QB13 on the year, ahead of big names like Trevor Lawrence, Dak Prescott and Joe Burrow. For Jolly Roger, Stefon Diggs is a machine and is currently the WR2.

That’s What Cheesehead vs. Team Louiewallis

Team Louie has continued their very impressive start to the season defeating Adam and company 116-86. They did this in spite of the goose put up by Jahan Dotson. After six weeks he has only scored in the double digits once. This has got to make team management worried. On the other side Adam is just biding his time waiting for the next draft to come around.

Team JoePerm vs. Purdy Good

This was the closest match this week with Team JoePerm edging out Purdy Good 69-61. Maybe the Goods really weren’t trying to win this one, but if it hadn’t been for the heroics of Tyreek Hill and his 25 points (36% of the Team JoePerm’s total) they could have snuck away with an upset.

Joe Wojda vs. Team WhiteHartBobbyLayne

Euan’s boys handily defeated Joe’s team 116-89. Joe will be happy that the 89 points scored just put them over the league median of 88, so the week was not a total loss. Cooper Kupp and Adam Thielen were the studs for White Hart Bobby Layne scoring 24 and 23 points respectively. They each outscored anyone on Joes team - Derrick Henry and Keenan Allen were the best with 18 points each.

No-Bell Prizes vs. Flaccoroni & Cheese

The No-Bell Prizes got their first bonus win in several weeks by defeating Flaccoroni & Cheese 112-68. As is usually A.J. Brown had a good week but Drake London had an even better one. For the Cheesy team, Kyren Williams had the best day scoring 21 points. However Williams was injured in the game and spotted with a cast on ankle this last week, so no one knows when he will return to the line up.

Puk Nukem vs Team gee17

Greg stayed in second place with a nice win over Dan, 100-73. Dan’s core of younger wide receivers makes him hard to count out though. Chris Olave, Michael Pittman, DeVonta Smith, Tee Higgins, and Puka Nacua could all go off one week and set a new league record. Everyone better be watching out.
