Sometimes football is just no fun. Especially fantasy football. You make a stupid decision and it ruins your entire week. Like starting the wrong player on Monday night football. And then sometimes that mistake is compounded by the Jets trading for Davante Adams, making Allen Lazard less valuable. And then the Bills trade for Amari Cooper making Khalil Shakir less useful. For the No-Bell Prizes the hits keep coming.

Despite being bad for me the trades were good for Adams (moving from 63 to 59 in the rest of season rankings) and Cooper (moving from 71 to 51) which will make ILoveMichaelKeatonMitchel and WhiteHartBobbyLayne happy.

And I’m sure that others can feel the pain of fantasy football with me. Jolly Roger is having their worst ever season. Is their incredible run of four championships in six years finally over? Could they possibly even miss the playoffs? Has the pirate ship that has been terrorizing these waters since the inaugural season finally been sunk? They have a little more than half the season left to show us.

Fantasy Heroes

Louiewallis had not one but two top QBs on his roster this week. And he started neither of them, giving the nod to Justin Fields instead. And do you know what? It worked! Louiewallis still crushed Jolly Roger by more than 40 points.

Blunder of the Week

I tried really hard to find another blunder this week, but it is clear that the biggest blunder was swapping out Allen Lazard for Khalil Shakir minutes before the Monday night game started. Shakir finished with 3 points and Lazard had 20. Enough said. Adam pulling his whole lineup seems to have gotten into my head. And now Adam has only undefeated team left and leads the league. Purdy Good, it is your turn to try and take them down.
